body and soul. We’ll trek along the fast-running rivers, mammoth lakes, green lagoons and waterfalls of the Andes …
and enjoy towns and settlements dotted with traditional Andean-style houses built with stone and wood from surrounding areas.
Our home base will be the “Gateway to Patagonia,” San Carlos de Bariloche, a city settled alongside Lake Nahuel Huapi in 1902 by European pioneers and famous for its wool production and mouth-watering chocolates. With daily transportation to outlying trails, we’ll cover a lot of turf, walking about magical places like Arrayanes Forest National Park – the one place on earth you can see a whole forest of the magical, twisting, cinnamon-colored Arrayan trees – and Enchanted Valley with its wind and rain carved monoliths. Vamanos al Patagonia! Tour price includes nine nights of accommodations (two nights in Villa La Angostura and seven nights in Bariloche); and all trip-related boat and bus transportation to, from and around Bariloche.
