Reservations and Payment

single supplements:
If you are traveling alone and would like to share with another traveler, we can try to set you up with a roommate in order to save on the single supplement charge. We cannot promise that there will be another person willing to share. Please see the trip description you are interested in for the single supplement policy.

To reserve your space on the trip, please mail a check or money order (US funds only) payable to Spanish Steps for $500 per person. The balance of the trip price is due 60 days before departure.

Also, to expedite your reservation you may download, print and return the Waiver and the Tour Registration forms along with your deposit to Spanish Steps, Box 8653, Aspen, Colorado 81612.

what is included?
The tour includes experienced guides, all hotel accommodations (based on double occupancy), breakfast, several lunches and several dinners (see trip description), support vehicle transportation (see trip description), and all our special excursions for the 8 and 14-day tours.   A map of the walking route for the day will be provided each morning of the trip. You will receive detailed instructions for the trip and an equipment list before your departure. The tour price does not include air and land transportation to Pamplona or Ponferrada and from Santiago de Compostela, personal expenses, and nonscheduled visits and activities.

The tour price for our Complete Camino, 35-days of walking, includes a pick- up in Pamplona at the meeting point, all breakfast and 15 lunches, experienced guides, all hotels, support vehicle transportation and special excursions to monuments off the Camino. Dinners are not included on this tour but the group will most likely opt to eat together in the evenings. Please call for additional information regarding our Complete Camino.

physical conditioning
The better shape you are in, the more you will enjoy the trip. These tours consist of long, physically demanding days. Start preparing for your trip as soon as you sign up.

cancellation and refund
Spanish Steps reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason, including insufficient number of participants (tour minimum is 7 participants). If the tour is canceled, participants will receive a full refund of money paid to Spanish Steps. If you must cancel your trip, we will refund your deposit, upon receipt of written notice, less the cancellaion fees - (see trip description).

responsibility
A requirement for your participation on the trip is the signing of a Liability Release form. Adequate medical insurance is mandatory.
